Marina was built by the council of Villamartín de Sotoscueva (Burgos) in 1456, according to inscription painted on its apse. This paper states that this hermitage a violent environment nobility's onslaught against powers, and neighbourhood protected interior exterior with series surprising mural paintings an apotropaic nature, as well roof, means tile inscribed verses from Poem Fernán González , contemporary building. All responds concepts popular culture medieval imaginary, expressed through visual written clues.
